Jason Steven.

Maker of fun things.

After graduating from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelors in Telecommunications and Film, I packed up my suitcase and moved to Orlando to work at Walt Disney World.  Over the years I've filled a variety of shoes, from front of the house operations, to training & facilitation, as well as four and a half years of working in Creative Services producing Sales Training, and Product Knowledge videos for Global Marketing and Sales Services as well as creating print pieces and decor items for Disney's Call Centers worldwide.

More recently, my shoes are a bit more colorful, working for Disney's Yellow Shoes Creative Group as a Traffic Coordinator where I've worked on the Disney Cruise Line, Latin America, and other accounts.

Outside of work, I have a passion for video, audio recording, and my camera(s) & H4N digital recorder are nearly always handy for whatever sights or soundscapes that I might come across.

It's a rare day when my LensBaby Composer isn't attached to my camera body.  I enjoy the extra levels of control & creativity that I have with my photos.  A simple still-life can seem to have large amounts of motion, a single flower petal can be the only point of focus, or a tack-sharp photo can look like a dream when using a plastic optic.  Experimentation and play are a key part of my process.

When I'm not on Disney Property, I'm probably either training for a triathlon, creating audio podcast adventures, or relaxing by the pool.

Florida life is hard.
